All motor skills need planning, coordination and strength, allowing your child to move their muscles...
Our unique combination of aquatic and land-based therapies help children with a wide range of neurological and developmental disorders, including Cerebral Palsy, dystrophies and rare syndromes, reach their full potential.
We understand every child has individual requirements. We spend time getting to know your unique needs and challenges to create a tailor-made treatment plan, that extends beyond your intensive therapy weeks.
We’ll work closely with you to inspire and empower your child to push past their limits and reach their goals, no matter how big or small.
Our children see massive progress during their time with us, developing or improving cognitive, physical and motor functions so they can enjoy more freedom and independence, boosting their confidence and self-esteem, but it doesn’t stop there. We engage your child with fun therapy activities you can continue at home, using the resources we’ve given you for even more growth.
Seeing Arjan float in the water with no aids was absolutely incredible, seeing Arjan go from sit to stand without any help was mind-blowing. Jo Jo explained everything so well and it felt like something just clicked, he really did excel himself. It’s also meeting other families, watching amazing results, this is such a positive place which truly makes things happen. I wished Arjan came sooner.
Grace is just back from her second visit to Swim Lab. What she achieved exceeded everyone’s expectations. This is down to Paul’s persistence and belief. As the days past, Grace’s trust in Paul grew and together they achieved far more than we ever expected her to achieve in 6 days. She is now swimming independently on her back and absolutely loving it. Thanks for all the tips and advice to carry on this great work at home.
India had just been issued with new orthotics so our land sessions comprised lots of gait work to get her walking better in those with a better ‘heel strike’. India arrived able to ‘just about’ swim 25m of freestyle and 50m of backstroke. After two weeks she was smashing out over 1km each swim session (sometimes +2km per day) which is truly amazing. I never imagined for a moment she could manage that type of distance in the pool but Paul instinctively knows what she’s capable of.

Join our waiting list and we’ll reach out when we have an opening, giving you 24 hours to confirm you’ll take it. Once you make the payment, you’ll receive an email that outlines what happens next and be able to choose which type of therapy you’d like us to focus on, SLT, OT, or PT. New dates will be released on July 4th for the following year.
You’ll be asked to complete a more detailed form and send imagery to demonstrate your child’s current abilities. This helps us schedule you with the therapist who best fits your child’s needs. They’ll be your main point of contact, both before and during your week.
We’ll contact you again 8 weeks before you arrive, so we have the most up-to-date information and time to research. This allows us to create the best treatment plan for your child’s needs, goals, and unique challenges. We’ll cover everything from daily routines to any existing therapy or treatment programs and additional support requirements.
You’ll receive the schedule one to two weeks before we begin. Each day you’ll have three 45 minute sessions, two in the pool, and one land-based. Sessions are one-to-one, run between 8 am and 6 pm, and usually span 5 days allowing everyone the time they need in each area. Of course, if your child has a medical or feeding timetable, we’ll work around that (we can’t accommodate nap times).
We’ll get to know you, your goals as a parent, your child’s goals, and what he or she really likes. For example, if they like Peppa Pig, we have equipment and toys with characters to help make the therapy fun. No goal is too big or too small; whether they want to tie their own shoelaces or be able to dance, we can use their goals to inspire them throughout the sessions.
We educate you throughout the week, so you feel confident to continue supporting your child’s growth when you return home. You’ll leave us equipped with knowledge, resources and a program of playful therapy activities you can easily integrate into everyday life, making therapy fun, not stressful.
The support doesn’t end when your week does. Contact us if you have questions or to share your wins – we love to celebrate with you! We see massive improvements during our therapy weeks, but for continual progress, we encourage you to visit again. We’re here to support you for the long haul, and it can take time to reach your big goals, but together we can get there.
